how manō jackpot works

   buy a ticket into the open round

   Of every ticket, 3% goes to conservation and 2% to administration, as two separate transfers in the same transaction as the purchase — neither can be withheld by anything off-chain. The remaining 95% is the prize pool, and every lamport of it is assigned to a winner.

   the progressive reserve is fed by every nēnē ticket, not by manō

   manō's own tickets fund its round pot. The jackpot on top comes from a platform-wide reserve that a share of every nēnē ticket seeds. It is released at 500 SOL, or a round scheduled to run 72 hours, and it is paid into the round's pot rather than to a person — so once released it can only reach that round's ticket holders, by claim or by refund. That is deliberate: a jackpot whose only exit is a trigger that might not fire is a jackpot that can be stranded.

   the draw is committed before it is knowable

   When sales close, the round records a randomness account that has no value yet, and the slot it closed in. The oracle seeds that account afterwards, and the program refuses any account seeded earlier than the close. Reveal and resolve then ride in a single transaction, because a revealed value is readable only in the slot it was revealed. So whoever triggers a draw cannot choose it — the winning seed is stored on the round, and anyone can recompute the winner from it. See how it works.
