preview — this build is not connected to a program, so nothing here touches a chain and no ticket can be bought. A program is live on devnet at Ch6ykqCr…; this build simply does not point at it.

what the deployed program does

every humu ticket is cut 3% for conservation and 2% for administration, leaving 95% in the pot. The program draws eight numbers and pays by how many you matched, but as a pari-mutuel pool rather than fixed multipliers: the pot is divided in proportion to the weights below, so the ratios hold while the amount depends on the pool. Fixed multipliers cannot be honoured — 25,000× on a 0.1 SOL ticket is 2500 SOL, and a ten-thousand-ticket round holds a few hundred. Every ticket must be tallied before anyone can claim.

how humu wildcard works

  1. pick 3–8 numbers from 1–40

Of every ticket, 3% goes to conservation and 2% to administration, as two separate transfers in the same transaction as the purchase — neither can be withheld by anything off-chain. The remaining 95% is the prize pool, and every lamport of it is assigned to a winner.

  2. the multipliers are weights, not payouts

This is the part that is easy to misread, so it is worth being plain: humu is pari-mutuel. Nothing pays a fixed multiple of your stake, because nothing could — 25,000× a 0.1 SOL ticket is 2,500 SOL, and a ten-thousand-ticket round holds a few hundred. The published multipliers are used as weights: the pot is divided between the winning tickets in proportion to them. The ratios you were promised hold exactly; the amount depends on the pot and on who else matched. a share of the pot, by match weight.

  3. every ticket is counted before anything pays

A share is meaningless against a partial total, so the program will not pay a pick round until every ticket in it has been counted. Counting is permissionless and can be run by anyone — it moves no money and grants nothing.

  4. the draw is committed before it is knowable

When sales close, the round records a randomness account that has no value yet, and the slot it closed in. The oracle seeds that account afterwards, and the program refuses any account seeded earlier than the close. Reveal and resolve then ride in a single transaction, because a revealed value is readable only in the slot it was revealed. So whoever triggers a draw cannot choose it — the winning seed is stored on the round, and anyone can recompute the winner from it. See how it works.

Every figure on this page is read from the same configuration the purchase transaction uses, so the number you are shown and the number the chain applies cannot drift apart. Rates: 3% conservation, 2% administration. More in the FAQ.
