3% of every ticket sold goes to Hawaiian wildlife conservation, on every game. A separate administrative cut also comes off the top, and it differs by game — 2% on every game — with a 2% floor the program enforces, so every game earns something. Both cuts are taken in the same transaction as the purchase, to two different accounts, so conservation money and operating money can never be confused for one another, and neither can be skipped.
